Climate Nexus is a strategic communications organization dedicated to changing the conversation on climate and clean energy solutions in the United States. This site needed to combine the strengths of a comprehensive content management system and clear, effective data visualization into one complete platform. Graphicacy combined a website on the Drupal CMS with a custom data visualization application to create Climate Signals.

Climate Signals users use mapping and flexible search to move from local events occurring in their own back yard to an understanding of global natural phenomena. Simple interactive diagrams, related resources, and narrative content make these links clear and informative. By visualizing connections between the local and the global, Climate Signals makes a complex scientific concept tangible and meaningful for users, helping them understand the ways in which climate change is shaping their world, now and in the future.
